We developed the new safety4sea.com using WordPress and the Extra theme by Elegant Themes. The theme was visually modified with CSS code according to the client's specifications. There is complete and autonomous selection of featured articles by site administrators on the home page.
We used the Relevanssi plugin to customize the way the articles are searched. Searching for articles prioritizes the order in which they appear in results based on a rule that weights the position and number of occurrences of keywords in the title and content of articles.
To complete the website, a content migration was carried out. We migrated and merged the content from two previous WordPress installations, the old safety4sea.com and green4sea.com, into the new safety4sea.com.
