ATLANTIS Global Management Information Systems is born from the collaboration of Greeks and Turks business operators having a long experience in the yacht chartering & management industry. ATLANTIS’s mission is to provide cloud-based solutions for the Yacht & Marine industry based on real-life operations like booking portals, and yacht lists for associations, clubs, and unions.
Business challenge
A yacht manager is in charge of the yacht. The significant decisions and overall functioning of the yacht are supervised by yacht managers, who are also the primary point of contact for owners. Yacht Manager is responsible for the management, maintenance, crewing, etc..
ATLANTIS wanted the creation of an integrated system addressed to companies and individuals professionally engaged in the rental of pleasure boats. Also, wanted to have an b2b e-commerce for letting clients to subscribe to and pay on a monthly or annual basis, having the ability to manage their own plan, including upgrading, without needing to wait on human help.
Solution Overview
iBS’s team has implemented a range of software applications and especially for the rental industry. Having deep knowledge of the subject, starting from the Rental & Sales Manager era, iBS’s team designed and developed FOMCS, the Yacht & Charter Management System.
FOMCS the Yacht & Charter management system includes end-to-end functionality such as booking, tenant screening, yacht management, charter management, and payment processing. Through FOMCS API for portals, FOMCS’s clients – yacht operators and owners – can make available their fleet for booking in any web marketplaces for yacht booking or even for sales.
The task was to create an ALL-IN-ONE system including the Yacht & Charter Management application, the needed APIs for offering white-label facilities, the b2b e-commerce solution for managing FOMCS’ subscriptions with recurring payments, and connected to ATLANTIS’s ERP.
Finally, with the use of WordPress Subscriptions extension, we implemented a flexible system, easy managable and full secure.
