Konstantinos Mahxevanis is an internationally renowned lawyer who specializes mainly in maritime sector cases. Konstantinos had already built his website on the Wix platform. Not having full ownership and the ability to expand the website due to the many limitations that Wix has, he decided to transfer it to the open source platform, WordPress.
WordPress offers countless website scalability possibilities. Hosting as the website is now hosted on an iBS server gives the customer full ownership.
iBS undertook the transfer of the website from Wix to WordPress. By using the Divi theme from Elegant themes, we rebuilt the website pages with a fidelity of 90% compared to the original website design. In addition we have recreated the Contact us & Careers forms with the detail that we have added captcha protection for spam as it was not there before. We then evaluated its efficiency and based on significant metrics we delivered a modernized and modern website with high Search Engine Optimization (SEO) indexes.
